EzeeFile Document
Management is the cornerstone of the CBSL's document management product
line. It gives you the power to electronically store and organize all kinds of
documents - from accounting records to correspondence, from signatures to
technical drawings, and much more.
EzeeFile is widely known for its easy
usability, complete functionality, simple administration and absolute security.
Scanning Includes support for all TWAIN compliant hand-held,
desktop (A4 size) and A3 size, high-speed scanners. Includes powerful procedures
to scan single pages or complex batches using automatic sheet-feeders. Scanning
can be undertaken from a stand-alone, central scan-station or from multiple
scanners in multi-user environment.
Import Whether it's
from other Windows applications or scanned records, everything is stored in one
common document pool. Includes support for many image and non-image formats.
Quality Control Includes options to add/replace/insert pages
in an existing batch and powerful image enhancement features.
Document Storage Hierarchy The
EzeeFile database
structure is designed to cater to a wide range of document storage and retrieval
applications. The database structure maps the conventional methods of document
storage: Documents are placed in files and related files are stored in filing
cabinets. Includes support for multiple level of document storage hierarchy.
Document Profile Supports user-defined document type profile
with descriptors. Provides support for unlimited number of descriptors /
indexes. In addition documents can be indexed on keywords by manual entry or
automatically using OCR.
Query User-friendly interface for
formulating simple or complex queries. Partial word matching and search within
phrases. Look up lists provided for accurate document retrieval. Search the
entire archive or selected parts of the storage hierarchy. Results of queries
are displayed with a complete document description allowing for selective
retrieval of documents for viewing.
Security Includes a
powerful access control and security layer. Access control is managed by
designated Managers. Facility to restrict indexing, querying, modification,
printing and annotations. Even on the single workstation version,
EzeeFile includes the ability to define security levels to restrict
access to the document archive.
Image-base Volumes of image
storage can be defined with criteria for usage allowing for optimal use of
available storage. Thus magnetic storage can be used for recent documents and
optical storage for older documents. Image volumes can be stored on multiple
servers across the network. Image volumes can be offline and queries restricted
to selected image volumes.
Image Handling Incorporates robust
image display, printing and processing modules. State-of-the-art Image
Acceleration technology, displays a page in less than 1 second. Gray-scale and
edge smoothing technology ensures crystal clear and sharp viewing. Fast Movement
within and between documents. Image zoom-in, zoom-out, magnification glass,
pan-window and image thumbnail features
Annotations Multiple
kinds of annotations or notes can be made to the document. Highlight areas of
the document in various colors. Sticky Notes. Document Notes. Electronic Stamps
& various other annotations.
